Peeking through Gods fingers

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

"softly now" She whispers
basking in afterglow firelight
the ease of embers glow
jealous of the licking
remembering such heights
while dancing rituals
play out amongst starlit skies
to state of this religions
rites and incantation, just
as the play, a monk and nun
finally, a loan from their home
cashed in to climb heavens
seeing each other Gods
as they cry thankfulness
rebirthed, born again pagan
amok they become, zealots
in and of each other
held in hand while thumps
no longer put upon bible
are heard as holy crossings
stretched like Jesus
upon this starlit night

i don't know whether this is an advance to the more intelligent reasoning of paganism or to the regression of thought to weak minded and blindly ignorant religious dogma....well penned ...but you may color me confused . i have never been into the whole "god thingy" but, a gorgeous write, nonetheless.

LOL hahaha well secret of secrets---I have a love/ hate relationship with religion...but I am a lover of all things history...so much of the worlds religions fascinate...Christianity pisses me off in countless ways...but good ideas within it...and storytell (heavily written by scared men on many outlooks) so...chances to poke fun I do...and well Love...true love I think of as holy or sacred......and here was two most devouts...done with the shame game of forced oppression ...finding their new religion (eachother) as holiest of holy...being the true sacrifice to the other. far as the double-speak laid in there some are play on words (a nun and a monk--TWO-gether Amok) fun stuffs like that....holy crossings being walking the mile...silliness mostly with love for love and sneer for a sneer :) thanks for the kind comment!!!
