Leap

Dawns light up into my head

Singing me rocking me falling me up

As I slip down the roads of memories flame

Burning and pricking tickling the mind

To come from within and not from behind

Delight all my senses with so much to spare

Bear the weight of my pain to unite

This heart with my head so it can see right

Bring dawn into my darkest deep lonely

To calm this dance this trembling sweet

Into my night lay all stirs to rest

For at dawns light my soul does best

It calms the flight and frozen sight

And drips life into me so wet

Lifting me everywhere I dare to sag

Darkness you are this part inside

Staining tomorrows

No I won’t hide

As you dawn

On me
