Forged in Quiet Fires

Forged in Quiet Fires

A Poem by olmae mavis

He was a seed beneath the soil’s hush,
cradled in a cradle of calm and light.
But seasons turned, and storms whispered harsh truths,
roots grasped through darkness, breaking soft earth.A silent flame pressed beneath the skin,
molding fragile wings into hardened steel.
The river that once laughed now carves deep canyons,
each scar a map of battles fought unseen. No sword nor shield, but shadows learned to wield "
he walks the shifting sands, a hushed command,
the boy dissolved " a man forged by the land.
