Cowgirl Smile

Cowgirl Smile

A Poem by Olmsted A. T.

“Cowgirl Smile”

There is an unexplainable joy
That washes over me
When i see that cowgirl smile
Like being punched in the face
by over stuffed rain clouds
free falling from 50,000 feet
The feel of the wind rushing by
Tickling my ear drums
When i hear her speak

The way she says “and”
gives me shivers
and her art makes my soul shine bright
And she’s so witty
without a doubt she could win over any audience she liked

Not for glory nor for the fame
Because there’s no interest there
but for the fact
that she’s genuine
