Do you love me?

The general question of do you love me
Not that love you give to a new born puppy
But the one that's sincere
and shows that you truly care.
This question arises when another may fear.
Or it just comes up as a promiscuous dare.
The hesitant, 'Well of course I do'
Or the, 'Baby I'm in love with you'.
There is a difference between the two,
One, just floats in the air, the other sticks like glue.
I for one could same I'm in love,
But what does that matter when its just snubbed.
