Once Blue

Once Blue

A Poem by Kevin Fraser

Once Blue

If heaven holds a place who stand for peace,

If heaven holds a place who stand for peace.

Don't be frightened by the devil, or even cut your hair,

We'll get back to the garden once blue.

It is the light in your eyes keeping me warm,

It is the light in your eyes keeping me warm.

If time would sit still, forever here with you,

We could blanket under the moment once blue.

With clothing on your back shoes on your feet,

With clothing on your back shoes on your feet.

Food on the table a shelter over you,

Love is all you need once blue.

If walls faked between that bring us down,

If walls faked between that bring us down.

Like a campfire I listen as if words are something new,

You can finish all my sentences once blue.
