Wide Open Space

Wide Open Space

A Poem by Kevin Fraser

Wide Open Space

The forcast for today looks cloudy, I guess that means some rain will fall.

the winter winds will not comfort me, the wide open space makes me small.

The rain plays a song about us, and that silly umbrella we would share.

Together dancing with the elements, it was easy when, you were there.

The sunshine gives me my freedom,

the rain gives me time to think.

Clouds never know'n where they're blow'n to,

I just want to send my love to you.

Now an ocean waits between us, with a rivers time to decide.

That I am a sinking ship without you, or a drifter by an anchor and tyde.

I know we've been through stormy weather, I guess our hearts are in the wind.

As all those people who give their advise, how well do they know within.

The sunshine gives me my freedom,

the rain gives me time to think.

Clouds never know'n where they're blow'n to,

I just want to send my love to you.

The wide open space makes me small.

The wide open space makes me small.

The wide open space makes me small.
