Sometimes the world is
such quiet place-
with an undertoning hum as
the overtone of life.

Even silence is a sound.
don't forget to listen.

What do you think of the second stanza? Is it neceassary? Does it fit well with the first?

I think you should leave the second stanza, it creates a nice ending to it. "even silence is a sound" is one of the best lines. Should the second line be "such a quiet place" instead of "such quiet place?" ......i like the "undertoning hum" part of the poem.
