Soul Strengtheners

Quality friends are difficult to come by
but I've lucked out.
Such "Friends" are not friends at all..
Nor I feel are they family
but something else altogether.

They are soul strengtheners;
open-minded individuals who both
accept you as you are
and
push you to your best.

Author's Note

I've tried a few different stanzas to finish this poem but none of them fit quite right... And this one is important to me so I'm not going to force it. I'll finish it eventually!
