no I'm not presenting a facade
no this isn't a front honey
what you see is what you get
not hiding
I'm not bitter
I'm really ok
I don't have tears falling
not even choked up
I promise you
I don't hate
I'm just the essence of
cool calm and collected
heart aches a little
but that's to be expected
I actually have a smile on my face
a "thank you for it all" on my lips
a bounce to my step
a weight lifted off
I'm just a novice writer. Just because you love to do something doesn't mean you always should. I love writing poetry, but I would love to have y'alls comments on my poetry and everything else.
