New love

I haven't written many poems in my life. I wrote this on impulse, when I was feeling some intense things for someone unexpected.

And I saw him standing there

as bashful as you’d like

It felt like someone had winded me and

I didn’t know whether to squeal

to cry

or to laugh uncontrollably

to cover up the turmoil inside my twisted heart.
