A Poem for Home

A Poem by Owen

I picked up some donuts this morning

The apple cider kind

This little brown bag, greasy and pooling

Carries the taste of Fall

Hot Cider and Coffee beside me

Throw steam in the cold fall air

As I sit on this bench enjoying

The colors of summer recede

I spot some geese just landing

Upon the pond ahead of me
