Pass Me By

I've always wanted to write a poem about a rose. I did and I'm actually keen to it. "as if i were a dead rose, please pass me by..."

as if i were a dead rose
please pass me by
walk slowly past
so that i might cry
though if i do
you shan't stay long
for only one tear shall fall
