HurtfulA Poem by K. Carver
My heart spills out by the buckets.
And your eyes cry a thousand tears. Embrace me, as we feel each others pain. What we're going through is hurtful. I ripped your heart from your chest. You bled out standing before me. No surprise. I never cared. What you're going through is hurtful. You took the knife. Twisted it a little deeper. I wept, like a lonely child in the street. What I'm going through is hurtful. No surprise we turn back. I squeeze your heart a little more. You push the knife a little deeper. I love you completely. What we're going through is hurtful. © 2010 K. CarverAuthor's Note
