Come Hang with me and be my HoneyA Poem by BrittenyA poem I wrote for a English class in high school, had to use the lines come hang with me and be my honey and come walk with me and be my love. You keep saying come hang with me and be my honey I have alot of fame and money Can't you see? These things aren't for me I am much more of a romantic Despite your materialistic ideals Don't you care how I feel? I want you to walk with me and be my love Forget all your posetions and put me above All your other things Your saphirre necklace your diamond ring With this you raise your voice It seems you've changed your choice You speak to meekly say Come walk with me and be my love No onger just to hang and be my honey Love I know now isn't lighthearted and funny But serious and I will take it as such Compare you to summer days much Talk to you most everyday No longer materialistic things I'll throw away all my rings So we can sit along the sandy shore And say I love you more and more Watch the sun both rise and set Seeing htat your meeds are met All this to you I passionatly plea And I say yes you can stay with me Forever to be my love so kind A love that in a way Will last for many days © 2008 BrittenyAuthor's Note
