Streets of Glasgow

5 days, a month, a year of euphoria
No ties, no times, no heaven’s glory, a
Buzzing that’s felt from the heart to the feet
It melts the snow with its own drumbeat

Going is freedom, I’m free alone
I love all people, but more my home,
I love all bricks and weeds and coal
I’m grateful to them for my forming soul

The streets shake now wherever we step
Let that be a promise and not a threat,
Among the clouds, rain, whitened weather
Share the music, now walk together

Very, very nice! As a part Scot (1/4), and having visited Scotland several times, I can relate to its unique qualities. The 1st stanza is near perfect, by the way.
