Angel

A cry of pain was heard

Also a gunshot

She lays on the ground

Dying at the feet

Of the one she loved the most

His eyes wide with shock

He had almost been killed

She took his place

Her heart stopped

Her body went limp

A true angel

Even soaked in her own blood

Lovely poem, showing that love is enough for even an angel to replace the one she loved.
