Life Is Beautiful!

After watching the movie "October Baby" my soul was overwhelmed by the loss of millions of lives through the process and choice of abortion. I had to write out my thoughts and this is the product.

Oh how precious is the heartbeat that beat within your tiny chest.  Each movement was a miracle.

Far more than just the product of an act, you were indeed a powerful gift from the hand of God.

And every day that unfolded told us a greater story of your life, and just how very loved you are by the Creator!

There is no such thing as a mistake to your life.  Little one, you were specifically sent here, a tender love story wrapped in a tiny frame.

I can almost see your hands moving... I can almost see your little eyes, innocent and pure, closed until their appointed time of awakening.

So awesome is the process of Life!!  How great an impact to the world is your presence!

And even though your mother made a decision for herself, it does not mean you were not wanted.

Although you were not given a voice to defend your life, it does not mean that you were not counted.

Even though your precious body was never held in a tender embrace by one of us, it does not mean that you are not even now wrapped in the powerful and adoring arms of our Father in Heaven.

My heart weeps for our loss of you... For the worlds loss of such a wonderful, precious life never experienced.

My soul aches for the missed opportunity to see your smile, and hear your laugh, and know what it felt like to hold you.

Tears fall for you, little one. And not just my own. There are many who know that your life was Life indeed.

And I only want to say in these words that I know you were not a mistake.  You were not simply tissue...or an embryo. You were a brilliant light, and hope, and life! An individual soul who's very presence had the power to affect lives!

You were here in this world for only a short time, and were taken violently from us.  But I rest in knowing your smile is being seen by the Host of Heaven! Your laughter is ringing in the ears of those who have gone before us.

You are thoroughly enjoying the very tangible and joyous presence of God Himself.  And He is embracing you with perfection that we long to see and know!

So, beyond the pain of one person's decision to cut your physical life short, there is joy everlasting for you!  And you know, oh you know! that you are loved entirely...
