MOODY OLD SOD

MOODY OLD SOD

A Poem by yorkie

I'm a moody old sod some say
others the life of the party
really that's fine by me
as long as they don't see inside me.

I'm asked if I have depression
how the hell should I know
yep I get pissed off quite often
but I'm no doctor= how should I know.

I live from day to day
well the same one every day
that's all fine by me
after all these years of caring
that's real life to me.

should I get treatment for depression
how the hell should I know
no buggers getting into my head
the socials not getting there hands on me.

I don't want tax credits
or any of there benefits
we get by pretty ok
once had a social worker come round
I soon shooed her away
I'm just an old sod
that's fixed in my ways.
