THE GREAT MASS DELUSION

Why do people believe in gods

when rulers kings and despots

have surrounded themselves with lies and gods

its one sure way to control you

somehow they all seem to know that. 

if there really were any gods

would they in reality allow that

certainly  should some of you

not be thinking that at the very least

gods would smite those rulers down. 

is it fear of death

maybe a mythical afterlife

that lulls you into believing

those gods are helping you

just look around you and see

they have done nothing to help you.
