TO BE A CHRISTIAN

TO BE A CHRISTIAN

A Poem by yorkie

To be a Christian with a mouth full of scripture
how can they talk of nothing more than hate
love thy neighbour the book says
not just the ones the same colour as you
but when religion comes between my neighbour and me
I will choose my neighbour instead
as any Christian would -what about you
been a Christian should mean love
as Jesus would say
seems to me these days
its used as a reason to hate.
