DaylightA Poem by MoebiaPitter patter. Little feet are trotting, stomping, chasing, running. There's gifts on the floor and pine in the air, and smiles on the faces of very smiley children. Screaming and shouting, the adults are awoken, arisen from a slumber, that had just hardly begun. The children are cheering, with fancy paper in their hands, and toys under their arms. And near the tree, there's a crack in the window, that refuses to close. So the daylight seeps in, mending the darkness, alleviating fears, letting us see. © 2013 MoebiaAuthor's Note
