Field of Gold

Field of Gold

A Poem by Moebia
"

All of our lives have a bit of darkness.

"
Lately life has been
nothing but
clear skies and
daises.
But I know that
somewhere
in those meadows of gold
there is a darkness
that must unfold.
But since when
has life been ever different?
There's so much bullshit
that sometimes I cannot tell
what is in fact real
and what is
a lie.
Perhaps you,
the one who gives me the most happiness,
are a lie.
Because lately you've been
drifting off
for nights
and nights.
and nights.
And I want to think
that everything is
clear skies
and daisies.
But I can't ignore the fact
that every night
I lie down next to nothing.
So perhaps,
in my field of gold,
you are the darkness
that is starting to unfold.

I am no writer of the sort. These are my musings, my arts, my flutters of thought. Call them what you may--but a poet is not anything that I am. I have been immersed in my violin for nearly a deca.. more..
