the owlA Poem by [Dark]i wrote this in 5th grade, as part of the poem unitThe white-cratered moon Is glowing In the gloomy Cloudy sky
The brown owl Sitting on a branch Looking for prey With yellowish-blackish eyes Sharper then a knife
Making a loud Echoing sound Hoot, Hoot Signaling sight Of a mouse
Flapping its long wings With orange feet Ready for lift off Leaping Into the cold air
Many appear Chasing With rapid speed
Bumping each other The mouse escapes Then daylight appears
The owls retire Resting Until dusk Returns © 2008 [Dark]Author's Note
