Our real self lives within us, but we should let it live, rather than try to dig it into our own outer presence. We just muddy the true picture by such digging.

Very strong senryu here.
There is a spirituality we connect with that has nothing to do with material possessions...
it is love, friendship, peace within...
we often look in the wrong place for what can really comfort us.
