My Existence

My Existence

A Poem by Jenni Bailey

I had to be ready for this world

My parents didn’t have to be

Here I am, not any less fragile

All  grown up

Picking up my pieces….

Because I’m never going to be any less fragile

Actually, I believe ALL of us - have to be ready for this world ...it IS that harsh. But some are always needing to be a bit more ready than others. Pity NEVER works but friendships BUILD strength through faith and the honest awareness as each deals as only each of us can. I look forward to more of your thoughts.

Your gently laid words are courageous, Jenni.
Your pen whispers,

' All grown up
Picking up my pieces….
Because I’m never going to be any less fragile'

Your ability to lay those words suggest a
strength of character and skill that defies
s fragility, my friend.
