River Wide
A Poem by pheasant
I'm off to the race Out of this place And into a new I'll still be around Still make a sound And always be true True as I fly Wondering why And how it may go In a welcoming home I won't be alone So sharing I'll know Peace be to you As I move on through This turning tide I'll write you again And still be your friend On this river wide

Wonderful sing-song poem. Love the rhyme and normally I am not into the rhyming .. this goes well though. The title drew me to this poem. A good title and you are right... no matter how wide the river, true friendship never ends.. Good luck there in S.CA. where i hear it never rains.. I love rain i would have to go to Seattle often if i lived there lol
