Please don’t:

Please don’t stand beside me

If you are not my friend.

Please don't say you'll help me,

if you're not there at the end.

Please don't say you love me,

If your meaning is not true.

Please don't push my boundaries,

If it benefits just you.

Please don’t use my feelings,

If you mean to cause me pain

Please don’t look into my eyes,

If it’s a lie just for your gain

Please don’t say hello to me,

If you really mean goodbye.

Please don’t say forever,

If you intend to make me cry.

Please don't ask to hold my hand,

If you don't intend to stay.

And please don't ever ask me,

to watch you walk away.
