Why do I fight this war

for I do not have the strength

dodging blows left and right

I cannot let them suceed

hiding in the chill of night

noone can see me bleed

why do I fight this war?

why did I go alone

there is something I am fighting for

I cannot find at home

I never should have picked this fight

it's one I cannot win

my only other option is flight

but I will die before then

Why do I have to fight for something that is all around

It is everywhere that is near me

it is in the trees and in the town

but I cannot have it easily

I know I cannot win but still I have to try

this is my last hand I have to bluff

chances are that I will die

for I do not have strength enough
