Behind the smile that you see,

Lies the truth deep beneath,

All the sorrows have not gone away,

And the sadness is here to stay,

I might act as if everythings ok,

But the truth is hidden,

I wish you could understand

Theres just so much you don't know...

something we all can relate to. i like this poem, the deepness & emotions of it. no one can ever truly know another person, unless they have lived in their shoes for a day, have felt what they felt, have seen what they've seen. & there are many ways of hiding the hurt that lies deep within us, wishing someone would dig deep enough to find it. dark & emotional write.
