Love cannot give back to me
What you've taken
Life will not be the same
When you awaken
Pain's sweet embrace
Emptied my heart of you
Fingers cut lines to trace
In our skin, pale and blue
You once claimed ignorance
In the name of love
I must have given in 
When push came to shove
