My Confession as a Cigarette SmokerA Poem by Rc R. VagilidadDid God ever smoke, or did Jesus teach you wine is better with tobacco?
"I held one stick and it wasn't over. And I count my first stick of cigar until it was countless."
Did God ever smoke, or did Jesus teach you wine is better with tobacco? It was just sudden that a moment glimpse everything has gone mundane. Cigarette has become my dungeon to my solitude. I embrace the good source of life, and the evil it had brought upon me. I foresee the greatness it will falter, destroy, create, justify and eliminate. What has become to the goner, that it has made me the amateur smoker walking downtown with a burning torch at hand, like the young dragon reversing its first flight and burn down its wings. "I flew beyond the earth, an ordinary fowl that was once outlawed of the placable array of sunset and autumn clouds. Wings grew like the dolphins of the sky..." Yes, I flew everytime. And I see amazing stuff. Too amazing that it had become amusing, annoying. Suddenly, I flew once more. Good stuff again, aging towards my sight like falling leaf from the top branches of Fall. Nevertheless, that seed grew with that leaf. It never dies until I stop. It's a wild ride to cynical adversities, never been found just there on the corner of First and Amistad, drinking beer and sober with anger, delight... and ultimately the grave. © 2009 Rc R.
