she is a flower
A Poem by Kelly
My fingers memorize the patterns of her freckles, scratching constellations into her alabaster skin. I dived into her, and she into me. We are drunk, and I am intoxicated by my lip in her teeth, her fingers in my hair, her arms around my neck. The moon smiles upon us like the Cheshire cat and she points out how beautiful the sky is tonight, so many stars. And on each star I wish for her happiness. She hides her sorrow every day, but I can see it in the way her smile doesn't reach her eyes. The backseat smells of our perfumes and the vodka I spilled and somehow, even with her mascara smeared and my lipstick on her cheeks she is so damn beautiful. She is beautiful, and I have her. maybe just for now, but I have her and she will always have me. I am ten thousand leagues beneath her.

I still would like to see this in a different format for impact to the reader...but I guess this is your style and one complete thought...the end takes the verse and compiles the read:
She is beautiful, and I have her.
maybe just for now, but I have her and she will always have me.
I am ten thousand leagues beneath her.
