domino jackets, amino acids

A Poem by p.kuhl

domino jackets

amino acids

he pulls the wave from the air down below

man sends out blooms of gasoline plumes

trapping bottlenecks in mesh turtlenecks

and he finds a new perfume

click the chrome spurs to the backs of your calves

to have and to hold the peace in your hands

man oh man what's the use of it anyway?

domino jackets and

amino acids

define my face and lizard skin for those I consider less

than kin, in the race to develop alien friends to uncover

the space that we're currently living in
