peoples, bottles and the far East suite

A Poem by plainme

my head is leaking again

hard from all those hits I took

memories follow me

like shadows

crossing the road

in the middle of the night

I turn around

she’s not there

stuck in the hunt

of bodies and souls

shadows; finally forgotten

streetlights; like angels

moon; my guardian

stars; my heroes

unpaved roads; my strange friends

continue my journey

into your soul

drink thoughts

smoke emotions

until your body

takes the time

to lay low

for a while

I will write a poem

on the carved way

so long

so long

my darling

so long

my friend

volcanic ash

quaked earth

won’t take you out

may Godzilla carry you

safe and sound

and put you next to me

on familiar ground

This is a journey, from curious to insanity to heartbreak in this one poem, great job!

Thanks Nick! Glad to see you back on here!
this has tremendous ease of flow, it's highly impressive, as if the words wrote themselves, the natural progression and how it all connects together seamlessly.
