Much

Much

A Poem by yourhaircutman

I want too much.

I want the new, the old,

the future, the past.

I want smiles and tears.

I want the sea, as well as the burning

pits of lava kept tucked away under

our feet.

I want the world.

But I'd gladly give this all up to see

you walking through my door.

brilliantly built up piece with anticipation for a most delightful surprise ending, you put a lot of honest passion into this, and it could not be more eloquent, every line brought more pleasure to the reader.

Hmm, I enjoyed reading this very much- it's amazing how we seem to be happily willing to sacrifice so much for another person to return to our lives - good work! :)
