Twist Of Fate

Understand do I now

Defeated have become

Matter do I not

Anymore…to anyone

 

Hope, once did have

Believe still could I try

Mirrors reflection does prove

Not enough in others eyes

 

Lost I became

To thick the haze

Eyes appear open

Hiding only a blank gaze

 

Never did I dream

This place would I be

Disconnected from the light

Once so clearly, did see

 

Point of no return

I fear have reached

Still, somewhere within

Feel more left to teach

 

Struggle through the dark

Unburdened can become

Renewed faith does return

Life again has begun
