TEXAS ARMADILLO HAIKU

This is my response to the Writing Challenge given in one of my Writing groups. I enjoyed writing about our Official Texas State small animal adopted in 1995.

TEXAS ARMADILLO HAIKU

Armadillos

 Should be seen

But surely not heard!

Don't 

Mess With Texas

---Nor our Armadillos!

You can

Lead an Armadillo to water

But you can't make him drink!

Time

Tide & Armadillos

---Wait for no man!

A Day

Without Armadillos

Is like a day without sunshine!

An Armadillo

A Day---keeps all

The Doctors Away

A Little

Armadillo---

Goes a LONG way!
