Reflection

 

I saw myself in his eyes as he glanced through me

Showing me a person so unfamiliar-

Yet so much more me than I had ever known.

Opening my wings for flight-

He breathed life into me at a time when death seemed so inviting.

He created a vision within me so strong I couldn't turn away from it.

Handing me the pencil for creation-

To take hold of my life and draw my future from his eyes-

The love he gave me planted seeds still yet to sprout.

Creating foundation true to form built on love, trust and devotion

And the promise that though I move in a direction separate from his

I shall never walk so far away as to not be able to glance behind me

and see his footsteps....

this is so strong so wonderful ,many emotions feeling i find here,you looked into his eyes and you saw a different person cause he had a vision of you so nice and sweet,even nicer picture of you than the real you,when you were down and blue ,he breathed life into you and you felt even if you moved in different directions if you turned around you will always see his footing right behind you because this love so much love and its wonderful and you image it wonderfully here,just great,love it all

Audrey? Sorry LOL! I didn't learn your name until now :P "Reflection" is good, and maybe it is a good idea to keep it. To me, it seems like "Resurrection." I don't know exactly why. But, did you ever feel like there was a time in your life when you felt alive and free, and then soemthing got in the way of that, making you feel trapped? Did finding your new lover/husband make you feel resurrected? A reflection is merely how you see yourself from someone else's eyes. Resurrection is more of a feeling!! Do you feel alive and free? Much love.............
