The King

There will always be only one King in peoples heart

The King who is he should I know him by name
What will I or men gain if we acknowledge him by his name
The King does he wear a crown is his throne made of brass or gold
Can he restore and deliver evil men soul
Tell me who is this King that can make men whole
I believe all men need to discover the King of righteousness, mercy and great power
Where is this King that many know by name
All men bear his Spirit deep within their soul
But greed, lies, wealth, addictions, hurt and pain
Allows the deceiver of betrayal, hate, manipulation and this world to consume and take control
Direct our soul to the King who can make us righteous and whole
Take us to his Throne where we can throw down our burdens and troubles
Pain and bitterness
Lust and greed
Pride and shame
Show me this King that knows us all by name
For this is the season in which all men should seek after the reason
Why the King of the Universe created mankind for a purpose and reason.
