Electrical Storm

A low vibrating rumble on the horizon
Catches my attention as it deeply grabs
Showing its true majestic power with grace
With one elaborate gust frightening night

Drawing closer, the solid earth begins to shake
With a low baritone, sounds across the dark sky
Announcing its upcoming vocal approach
As windows begin to subtly rattle awake

An onyx sky shimmers with streaking blue light
Veins spreading their fingers in all directions
Caressing every cloud it passes through
Creating a visual masterpieces

Electricity soars upon the Black Sea sky
Wings spread with arcing white fluidity
As thunder plays a deep bass guitar
That gathers strength as humidity rises

This stormy night is. Comfort to my being
Listening as the vibrations pierce within
The passionate sound of nature being set free
As my eyelids begin to flutter downward
