Peaceful Night

The full moon shines bright
the grass sparkles with dew
Upon the cool spring night
Giving a majestic hue

The bird are nestled in
the rabbits are hopping about
A cool breeze gently begins
As coon find a garbage can route

The dark is peaceful and still
The houses are shut up tight
As stars twinkle with their own will
While tree branches sway ever so slight.

I wrote this last summer looking off my balcony at night. It was a beautiful night.
