Betrayed Heart

Broken is the heart,
that has been betrayed.
Where did it all start?
On that warm sunny day.
Anger began to consume,
All feeling that day.
Leaving love forever doomed,
Without even a hopeful ray.
Bruises were left
Upon the fragile skin
Screaming mad me deaf
A battle no one could win
Three live forever,
To be completely changed.
A love and bond now severed.
A union departed and rearranged.

This is about an ex that was abusive. I left the first and only time he actually hit me. My friend as I shall call him Mr Arizona and I had reconnected a few months prior to my now ex Jason abusing me physically. Mr. Arizona helped me through all the emotions and the court stuff that ensued along with pressing charges on him. Mr. Arizona has been through so many things with me and has helped me each step of the way. I’ve done the same for him. Through two divorces and another failed relationship to his daughter being born and taken to heaven wrapped in angel wings.
