Sunlight Dream

One of my favorite dreams

Close your eyes

And feel the sunlight

On your face

As the rays warm

And two minds interlace

 

Two people

Sit side by side

With no place

To go

Just a moment in time

Where hearts melt

And everything else

Vanishes

In the sunlight’s glow

 

Her head

Lay on his shoulder

Relaxed

Feeling complete

Her cheek

Brushes softly

On his bright

Yellow shirt

 

 

He stares

At her contently

As words

Flutter upon

The warm midday air

 

Beers sipped slowly

As a connection is found

Two separate being

Become mentally

Bound.
