Age Restrictions Apply for Fabian Franklin

A Poem by Poeticpiers
"

sonnet in iambic tetrameter

"

Age restrictions apply

The boundaries which lie between
the worlds of fact and fantasy.
Remain in place although unseen
 by unbelievers easily.
All children know they can pass through
to roam at will in fairyland.
Something which adults cannot do.
Because the children understand
the rules which keep the adults out.
Do not apply to them at all,
that they’re welcome they have no doubt.
To answer when the fairies call.
Come one come all, it’s time to play
today’s a fairy holiday.

This is delightful - makes me believe in fairies even more! Surely your poem will encourage adult readers to remember back when fairies did live at the bottom of their gardens/yards !

This is a different theme from usual and, it's rememberable. Makes me smile.

What fun and wouldn't it be great to just stop being old and grumpy and to dance with the faeries again?

Thank you - a lovely poem that made me smile :)
