Reflecting on reflections for M lady Manoosh

Reflecting on reflection

Today is dull and far from bright
but I can see to my delight.
Sunlight reflected from some pane
of glass.Which sends it back again
towards the source from whence it came.
A ball of incandescent flame
the centre of our galaxy.
The star we circle endlesly
Without the sun there would not be
 the slightest possibility.
The human race could live and thrive.
It makes me glad that I’m alive
to meditate reflectively
upon the sun I cannot see.

This is wonderful. And I must admit as much as I like writing free verse, I love reading in meter and rhyme. I always enjoy your work!

ah yes, a "happy" poem. Not sure why some writers (like me) become so morose, when you'd think we would be the first to see and celebrate the light...but we don't.
A heartfelt - skillfully crafted reminder to look up, here.

It's very nice, Poeticpiers. I'll not pretend to be any authority, but I do like it. Samuel
