Global Warming:Phooey

Global warming phooey

The morning breaks it’s dull and grey
 another wretched winter’s day.
There’s some mistake the month is May.
It’s not a day I have to say
to rise up smiling from your bed
far better stay and sleep instead
Enjoy the dreams which fill your head.
There’s little more that can be said.
Perhaps tomorrow will be bright
I will awake to bright sunlight
and greet the new day with delight.
The weather man has got it right.
But then again he might not do
 another day for feeling blue.

I agree with the sentiment [I seem to be using that word a lot in my reviews lately...sigh]. This is a piece that can be easily enjoyed because of it flow and the topic content that I think that most people can associate with. Whats more I agree with the title on the issue of Global warming, being a student of science....

I like the turning around and around of resolution, without any in the end. It's like the poem imitates the reality of misdirection and unpredictability of Global Warming and weather prediction. Comes across as a light melody but it's subliminal message is strong enough for a good gut punch!
Neat!

About the frost the other day?
That was terrible...
I am really tiring of the colder weather.
I think I may move to the desert!

Lovely sonnet, by the way.
It described my attitude towards the weather perfectly. ^.^
