Enduring LoveA Poem by PoeticpiersGhazal

Enduring love
When in the night the moon appears
her silver light will calm your fears.
The darkness offers you no threat,
weep not my love and dry your tears.
The loveliness that lights the sky
will slowly fade as morning ears
In majesty the sun will reign.
with blazing light and heat that sears.
Come to my tent at noon to rest,
there far away from listening ears.
We can engage in dalliance
and none will dare to interfere.
The joy of love that we have known
together now for many years.
Can still to us great comfort bring,
your beauty fades not with the years.
To you I am still offering
the true love of Poetic piers.
