No change,

Double Eagle made of gold
will its value hold
 Not so paper promises
 Possibly worthless.

It’s a game of bulls and Bears
 buying stocks and shares.
Sometimes you win, sometimes lose
 You cannot always choose.

To be on the winning side
That fate will decide.
When the bankers go astray
The poor always pay.

Although the experts call the play
Somehow we all pay
Through the nose for their mistakes
Why for pity’s sake.

Oh such a timely write my friend.

"Although the experts call the play
Somehow we all pay
Through the nose for their mistakes
Why for pity's sake."

Good job!

COIN POEM
Just wanted to remind you of the rules for a coin poem:

This type of poem has two couplets to make four lines. The first couplet presents a thought and the second couplet shows the other side of that thought.

Line 1 has 7 syllables; line 2 has 5 syllables; line 3 has 7 syllables; line 4 has 5 syllables.

The rhyme pattern is either abcb or aabb

Of course, I love your submitted poem, but I can only consider the four-line coin poems that follow the above rules.

No kidding on that. So sick of it myself. Well done.
