No change,   08

Double Eagle made of gold
will its value hold
 Not so paper promises
 Possibly worthless.

It’s a game of bulls and Bears
 buying stocks and shares.
Sometimes you win, sometimes lose
 You cannot always choose.

To be on the winning side
That fate will decide.
When the bankers go astray
The poor always pay.

Although the experts call the play
Somehow we all pay
Through the nose for their mistakes
Why for pity’s sake.

Why indeed, Piers! Why indeed! One small consolation - I read today that Australia's richest man has finally been toppled off his pedestal, and is losing money at the rate of $6000 a minute, or $360,000 an hour, or $8,640,000 a day, $60m a month. Do I feel sorry for him??? Boo Hoo!
That will teach him to flaunt his wealth, spending, as he did, $10 million on his wedding. That type of wealth in the light of the hardship of the rest of us, is an obscenity!

That was really good. I think that definantly stimulates my mind, and makes me think about our totally screwed up economy. I read this over and over about 6 or 7 times, and it just got better each time. Keep writing, I hope to see more great work from you soon!
